*Full drawing including all dimensions and instructions for suggested used included by email delivery*
*These templates are cut to factory specifications to be used with genuine Fender components – body contour matches pre-CBS guitars.
*Genuine Fender pickguard is a perfect fit on these templates – as shown*
*Neck pocket machined for perfect fit on standard 2 3/16 inch Fender or Fender Licensed neck*
*4 holes for bridge mount & 6 holes for string through body holes to match original Fender bridge*
*These template sets have perfect edges and are 100% ready to be used – no sanding required whatsoever – the edges are exactly 90 degrees to face.
Can be used either as a Pattern for tracing, or directly as a Template for routing with typical woodworking tools.
Each set is 2 pieces – Both are identically shaped and sized below the neck.
1 piece for routing the body contour and locating the neck mount holes - made of 1/2” MDF. 1 piece for routing the neck pocket & pickup/control cavities etc – made of 5/16” MDF
*Both pieces have holes for bridge mount & string through body holes – clamp one on each side of the body blank - mark and drill from both sides for the string through holes*
*No Flat spot for output jack – you can add it if you wish*
*No router hump at neck cutaway*
*Builds a right or left handed guitar*
